OneTapReminder Support

For questions, problems, or feedback, email onetapreminder@gmail.com. Include your phone model, app version, and what happened. Send a recording only if you want to share it.

Get started

Open Settings and choose a speech model. Download it once, then hold the microphone, speak, and release. Pick a time or save without a reminder. You can also tap the microphone for hands-free recording and tap again to finish.

Reminder alerts on iPhone

Allow OneTapReminder notifications in iPhone Settings. Choose “At event time” for an alert at the selected time, or select an earlier offset. Tap the alert to open its recording, then tap Play. iPhone Focus and notification settings control whether alerts make sound or appear immediately.

Reminder alerts on Android

Allow notifications for OneTapReminder in Android Settings. Battery restrictions can delay alerts on some phones. The known OnePlus / OxygenOS delay can occur even when exact alarms are permitted; reminder timing depends on the phone’s power management.

Languages and text size

The new Android update adds English, Swedish, Vietnamese, Spanish, German, French and Brazilian Portuguese interface languages. In Settings → App language, follow your device language or choose one yourself. Your transcription language is a separate setting. Settings → Change font size enlarges small text with a live preview; your phone’s text-size setting still applies.

Calendar and widget

Calendar Integration is optional: it saves an additional event to a writable device calendar. The iPhone release includes medium and large calendar widgets. Open the app once, then touch and hold the Home Screen and choose Edit → Add Widget → OneTapReminder. Tap a date to open its timeline.

Recording and transcription on iPhone

Keep OneTapReminder open while recording and until transcription and saving finish. iOS can suspend an unfinished task when the app is in the background. Alerts already scheduled with iOS can still arrive while the app is closed.

Privacy and backups

On-device speech recognition works offline after the model download. OpenAI transcription is optional and sends recordings to OpenAI only after you allow it. You can turn sharing off in Settings. Backups are files you control and may include recordings and your optional API key; keep them private.
